1. What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel up to 48 hours ( 2 days) before your check in time to receive a refund. However, there will be a charge of 10% of your deposit. Refunds will be given
in the form of a check.
2. Do you accept pets?
Yes, house trained dogs only. Dogs cannot be over 20 lbs. each and there is a limit of 2 dogs per cabin. There is a fee of $10.00 per pet /per night stayed. No cats,
birds, squirrels, etc. allowed. If it is found, after you leave, that your dog has damaged any of the furnishings , your credit card will be charged for their replacement
value. This may be replacement of rugs, furniture, dishes, linens, or anything your dog has damaged. Please watch your pet and be sure he goes out to go potty. If
spots are found on the rugs, they will be replaced at your cost.
3. Do I need a permit to fish the lake?
No, you do not need a permit to fish Rock Lake. There is no swimming in Rock Lake. You cannot put a boat or canoe in Rock Lake.
4. What type of fish are in the lake?
Rock Lake is stocked with bass, bream, bluegill, shell cracker, and crappie.
5. Is there a bar-b-que grill in the cabin?
Yes, it is a charcoal grill. You should bring a bag of charcoal.
6. Are there any restaurants in Mentone?
Yes, Mentone has many restaurants. There is a list in each cabin along with phone numbers.
7. Is there anywhere we can hike or ride our bicycles?
Yes, Rock Bluff Rentals sits on 100 acres. Also, Desoto State Park, Little River Canyon, Desoto Falls, and more are nearby.
8. Is there cell phone service at the cabins?
Yes there is . However, depending on your provider it may not be a full signal. There is a phone in each cabin with local access.
9. Will you accept cash ?
Yes, we will , but you must give a credit or debit card number at the time of booking to charge the first night's stay on in order to hold the reservation. You may pay for
the remaining nights with cash if you wish when you arrive, otherwise, the remaining nights will be charged to the given credit card when you arrive. We accept Visa,
Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
10. Can I look up the address on Mapquest?
We give clear directions in your reservation confirmation email. Mapquest's directions will take you out of your way to get here. We suggest going by our directions.
11. What if I get lost on my way?
Our phone number is on the confirmation email. Do not hesitate to call if you need assistance.
12. Where do I pick up the key?
On the outside of each cabin is mounted a lockbox beside the front door. You punch in a 4 number code and get the key out of that box. That 4 number code will be in
your confirmation email that you receive after booking your reservation.
13. What do I need to bring?
In each cabin we have all linens, towels, paper towels, bathroom tissue, soap, coffee pot, coffee, creamer, sugar, blankets, pillows, dishes, and pots and pans. We
do not provide any other food stuffs. You should bring your clothing, any food other than listed here, and if you plan to fish, a pole and tackle. You can buy worms in
Mentone .
14. Is there a grocery store in Mentone?
Mentone has 2 convenience stores, but no large grocery store. There are grocery stores in Fort Payne and there is a Wal-Mart at exit 218
of I-59 in Fort Payne. Fort Payne is 8 miles from Rock Bluff Rentals.
15 Are the cabins close to each other?
Yes, they are about 100 yards apart within walking distance.

Hot Hub: Please remember there are certain health risks that are associated with using a hot tub. Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in
all tubs prior to your arrival therefore it may not be warm till later that evening. Children under the age of 12 should be supervised at all times in the tubs. The
temperature is hot in the tub. Please do not put babies or people with skin sensitive to heat in the tub. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed
to support a person or persons. DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVERS, they will break and you will be charged for replacement. Remember when not using
the hot tub, leave the cover on so the hot tub will stay warm and debris will stay out. Please shower before using the Hot Tub as some body lotions/etc. mixed with the
hot tub chemicals can cause a rash on your skin. We are not responsible for any jewelry or clothing damage if worn in the hot tubs. Do not put soaps, lotions, or oils in
the tub.
GUEST FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY POLICY: Guest(s) understand they are solely responsible for any property damage, accident, injury to any person (s) or loss
sustained by any person, including loss of money, jewelry and other items of personal property, arising out of or in any way related to Guest(s) use of the premises or
the items of personal property provided by Rock Bluff Enterprises Inc. on behalf of the owner at Guest(s) request. Guest (s) should inspect cabin and familiarize their
cabin upon arrival and report any missing and/or broken items so as not to be charged for them. In the event of litigation for any reason, all attorney's fees and court
costs will be paid by the Guest. An inventory of the cabin is taken prior to check in and check out, Guest(s) assumes all responsibility for all damages, missing items
and excessive cleaning during their stay. Mentone Cabins is not responsible for lost or stolen items. If any item is left at a cabin it will be returned to the rental office
and is the responsibility of the guest(s) to notify the office of such items and will be returned at the guest(s) expense.
FURNITURE POLICY: Please place all furniture back in the arrangement in which you found it upon arrival. Do not disconnect any cables or plugs from the television as
this may interfere with its working ability. Guests will be responsible for any damage to furniture or furnishings occured during stay.
BUGS/PESTS/ANIMALS: Although we do perform regular pest control on all of our cabins, most of our cabins are located in a wooded, mountainous environment, and
we do not guarantee them to be free of all pests, bugs or animals. Wasps, ladybugs and other insects sometimes affect rental units. We cannot offer any
compensation for the presence of pests, bugs or animals. We also ask that all Guest(s) respect nature and suggest that you do not feed the wildlife.
PET POLICY:House trained dogs are welcome at Rock Bluff for an extra fee of $10 per night per pet. Rock Bluff is not responsible for the loss or injury of your pet.
Please keep them on a leash when not in the cabin. If any pet stains occur on the carpets, curtains, or linens, there will be an extra pet cleaning fee of $50 for
replacement of these objects.
PRIVACY POLICY: We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We will not sell or give your personally identifiable information to anyone.
